3rd Tawau GKB Activity,2008 (Hiking at Bukit Gemok)

This event was supposed to be held on Sunday, 1st June 2008 but because of the heavy downpour , it was postponed to Monday, 2nd June 2008 . As the result, some GKBs could not make it as they had to work or having other commitments including our committee members Doraemon, and Amey ...

It's the starting of the long trail up the hill.






Guo Han was out of breathe .......had to rest first.




GKBs needed the rest half way.



While resting, they also having fun chit chatting.

......and not to forget the knowledge gained on the types of trees grown there.

Not to worry, our GKBs just needed a few seconds to recover their spirit and energy, look at them now..........



They are on the move again, this time on the swinging bridge

what can I say for this wonderful experience with nature...

The journey to the top, an endurance test which was easily overcome by us...

Voices of singing and laughter cheered on as we climbed to the top...

Once we reached the top... everyone cheered on as satisfaction tht once again... The GKB's of TAWAU has accomplished yet another obstacle!

At the same time.. we witnessed a breath-taking overview of the town, Tawau...

Walking through the hanging bridges 1 by 1... enjoying the scenic view.. It was a joy for the GKB to get together and enjoy this activity together..

Every member who participated enjoyed the hike...

And everybody will be Ready & Waiting for the next...

Tiring climb, until some of you could not smile anymore.



Chao Fun was so happy as it was time to go home and it was downhill all the way.



Tang smilingly explained that's how a tall and big tree looks like at the top. Can you guys spot a bird nest up there ?

The answer .......... ETs UFO was up there. ETs wanted to go home.



No ....lah. Not ET .....just Sau Kirk trying to guesstimate the age of a tree.
